Georgia Guidestones Tour - March 17-18, 2013

I found out about the Ga. Guidestones a couple months ago and thought it would be cool to take a day trip to go see them. Arianna agreed, so we kind of picked a day and planned on it. It wasn't until later that I realized that the date we picked was at the start of my spring break and that the Guidestones were a really easy 3 day ride from home. So, I decided to take my bike and gear in the car and ride back.

The plan was to camp two nights, but there were a couple problems with that plan: 1) there's nowhere really good to camp between Athens and Atlanta without going kind of out of my way, and 2) it's only 120 miles or so, which is really more like 2 days of riding if you're not trying to keep going afterwards. But the weather was supposed to be good, and I had the time off, so I plotted some routes and figured I'd kind of wing it for the second night.

Here's some photos. I'll add some more comments later.
